Schalla Jewelers offers goldsmithing, repair and care for fine jewelry, custom design, watch repairs and appraisals

Schalla Jewelers, now a second-generation jeweler, started in 1952 by Gordon Schalla in Milwaukee, WI, a watchmaker who grew his business over thirty-seven years into one of Milwaukee's most respected jewelers. Garry, the oldest of three boys learned the business from a young age. Garry graduated as a Gemologist in 1977 and today continues his education in the industry on both a state and national level.

After working for his family, Garry started an independent appraisal business for both private clients and the jewelry industry. Garry opened his first store in 1981 located in Milwaukee, WI. In 1997, a second store was opened in Ouray, CO.

Monica Schalla joined Garry in 1986, bringing with her a background in art, design, marketing and "style". Her eye for style and design added new dimensions and ever-flowing textures to Garry's technical knowledge. Schalla Jeweler has grown, due to this partnership, using education and trust, through honesty and commitment, to create custom design work and original creations for customers in over 39 states.
